DAY 27

FRIDAY MAY 27 2005

This one is my favorite photo today. This photo contains the bustling environment of DAM Square, the ancient historical monuments, and a family.

The father is in the red shirt chasing after the boy who is chasing after the birds, as a pretty lady walks by, and on

the far right there is the mother in yellow filming it all.

My second favorite. Amsterdam.

An oldie, but goodie.

I am standing looking at this door. Behind be is Spui Square, a bustling, people saturated, nine streets of shopping. The crowds which I have been walking through these last few days.

Ahead of me is the door. Behind this door is an oasis of beauty, peace, and calm amidst the sea of humanity that is Amsterdam..

These above pictures just do not do it justice.

One would never know looking at that door that there is a courtyard of greenery, flowers, and grass sitting behind it.

This velo taxi driver got a real deal! For five Euros (outrages price) he took me to my destination, but on the way I drove and he was the passenger. Hey, a girl could drop a lot of pounds that way! He had to hop out and push to get me started (chagrin). At one point I got really going down an incline, giggling all the way. I yelled back to the guy that I sure hope no hapless tourist gets in the way. We both laughed. That was a lot of fun.

The name of this shop is called Manneken Pis. Would you like a lemonade?

Haarlem.

I always seem to be there for the weddings.
