DAY 53

Wednesday June 22 2005

Budapest. It is a feast for the eyes.

When we hit Budapest, we hit the ground running. I kid you not. It started with a four hour walk on the history and architecture of Budapest. Our tour guide for the day looked like a lean Sean Connery and had the monotone of a tax lecturer. When the tour was over, all the sudden I had such renewed energy, as if I were a kid let out of school early. Thank God.

So much was done on this day that I will just attempt to explain with pictures.

Budapest.

My number one favorite statue in the whole world. The children are playing in the water and attempting to catch and hold onto a slippery fish. When looking up at the statue in person I can really see the happiness showing in their expressions.

A father and his children. Now that's a loving family.
