DAY 66

Tuesday July 5, 2005

Nine countries later I am home.

This was my first full day back in Alaska and it was rough. I kept crying off and on all morning. I believe it was the lack of sleep and proper food, and really bad jet lag. Talk about bonking. By the time I had went to bed last night 30 hours had passed with no sleep and constant movement.

So today when I woke up I, understandably, had a headache that made any little noise reverberate in my head.

Fortunately, after all that, the day went much better and we went to TGI Fridays for lunch. Finally, some food! The day was beautiful with the type of golden sunlight that I can only find in Alaska in the summer.

I missed most sex, books, and movies. So that was the order of the day. Jeff had the day off and we spent the day doing all the things I missed most. I finally got to see Star Wars.

This ends the journal. If there are any other entries it will be listed in the Epilogue section.

To all those readers, thanks for following. I can definitely say that I am looking forward to the next ten years of my life. There is so much more to discover. Thailand, Greece, Turkey, and Graphic Design school.

I have learned a lot on what to do and what not to do as far as travels go. Maybe sometime, after all my debt is paid off, I could bicycle the world. :-)

I am looking forward to that! :-)

So I have arrived home happy, safely, and healthy!
