Tent: I could not find a green colored tent in the style that I wanted, so I will go with the MSR tent.

Panniers: Ortlieb was my one and only choice, simply, because I once forded a creek with my bike and fell in. I was wet all the way up to my upper thighs and I watched my saturated lunch float down the creek. I wanted to have full proof, water proof bags.

Laptop: My laptop of choice will be a Toshiba Satellite which I bought at Circuit City.

My helmet of choice is totally awesome! It has a mirror configured inside of the helmet itself, so that I can see 360 degrees around me and I don't have to twist my poor fused neck to do so.
